Colin Broderick



Colin Broderick is an Irish writer who has lived in New York for the past twenty years. His first memoir Orangutan was published in 2010, his next That's That also to be published by Random House, is due later this year. His work has appeared in numerous magazines; The New York Times, Poets and Writers, Writers Digest, to name just a few. He is currently at work on his first short movie Smile with cinematographer Eric Branco with help from the amazing Dr. Mello and Dr. Tabib and the wonderful staff, at NYC Smile Design, thank you for the new me, I am forever indebted. A documentary of the last ten years of his life, entitled Orangutan, a Jon Greenhalgh production, will be completed sometime in the coming year. This is Broderick's second feature play, and he is delighted to be working with such a fine group of people, thank you my temporary family. Special thanks to Dermot Kenny, Don Creedon, Eugene Callum, my brothers Brendan and Gerry, Tony Caffrey, Stephen Smallhorne, Pat Gilheaney, Jamie Morren, Renata, and of course The Poor Mouth Theatre Company without whose help this production would not have been possible. And last but not least, a very special mention to his daughter, "Erica, who inspires me to be better.
